This is my OG recipe!  I’ve been making this for too many years to remember for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other Fall/Winter festivities.  My learning of this recipe came from my Aunt Betty Poston, my dad’s sister!  I think it would be classified more as a dessert than a vegetable or side item, but either way, it’s delicious!

This recipe will perfectly fit into a half tray metal pan from somewhere like Sam’s. 

My trick to making this easy as possible is to boil the sweet taters, with the skin on and all, until they are soft all the way through, drain them, let them cool a bit, then you can easily peel the skin off and mix in the other ingredients.
